Tell us a little about yourself and your history with agile?
I am a passionate and experienced Agile coach, trainer, and speaker with over 10 years of experience in the field. I have a background in software engineering and project management, and I started my journey with Agile when I was working as a software developer.
I quickly realized the power and effectiveness of the Agile approach in delivering high-quality software while also fostering collaboration and engagement within the team. Since then, I have been committed to promoting Agile principles and practices in various organizations and industries.
How do your personal values connect with the work as Agile Coach?
I strongly believe in the values of respect, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. These values guide my work as an Agile coach and trainer, and I strive to embody them in my interactions with clients and team members.
I also value empathy, flexibility, and adaptability, as these qualities enable me to connect with clients and teams on a deeper level and tailor my approach to meet their specific needs.
What types of clients has worked with you over the years?
I have worked with clients from various industries and backgrounds, including healthcare, finance, government, and education. My clients range from startups to large enterprises, and I have experience working with teams of all sizes and maturity levels.
I enjoy the diversity of clients that I work with, as it allows me to learn from different perspectives and apply my skills in new and challenging contexts.
Can you share their personal values that are valuable to them?
As an Agile coach, I believe in working collaboratively with the team and empowering them to take ownership of their work and processes. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where team members feel comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns.
I also believe in leading by example and modeling the behaviors and values that I want to see in the team. Finally, I am committed to continuous learning and growth, and I encourage team members to do the same.
What agile tools do you use with your clients?
I believe in using a variety of tools and techniques to help clients achieve their goals and improve their Agile practices. Some of the tools that I use include Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, collaborative tools such as Trello and JIRA, and facilitation techniques such as retrospectives and lean coffee sessions.
I also encourage clients to experiment with new tools and approaches to find what works best for them.
What coaching philosophies do you adhere to and work with?
As an Agile coach, I believe in the power of continuous improvement and the importance of adapting to change. I also adhere to the principles of the Agile Manifesto, such as delivering working software frequently, welcoming changing requirements, and valuing individuals and interactions. In addition, I believe in a client-centric approach, where the needs and goals of the client are at the center of my coaching and training efforts.
Finally, I believe in the importance of collaboration and teamwork, and I encourage clients to work together and share their knowledge and expertise.
