Book extra practicum sessions

After having obtained your ICP-SYS, you can book extra practicum sessions to deepen your learning, practice the Systemic coaching conversation and work with the many tools presented in class. These sessions really make the learning come alive and are facilitated by an Authorized Systemic Coach who will provide guidance, feedback and demonstrates the reflective practice of a mentor coach.

Practicum sessions are based on real life case studies brought in by the facilitators and students

  • Contracting with the system (Individual, team and organization wide)
  • Identifying the need for system growth 
  • Designing the coaching intervention(s)
  • Practice the conversation(s) and feedback
  • Peer coaching on individual cases we bring into class
  • Feedback, mentoring and Q & A

Online Systemic Coaching for Agile Certification Course

Course Objectives

Build your system’s awareness muscle that can serve your coaching skills and highlight the tools and practices you can can use to coach the system forward towards high collaborative and effective relationships.

  • Demonstrate going through a full coaching arc with a system for a hypothetical or real-world scenario.
  • Demonstrate listening to the whole of the parts as one voice, finding the connection that binds them and explain how to help create awareness in the team of their own growth, development and future spective.
  • Coach Agile Teams, Organizations and individuals in Agile organizations using a Systemic coaching approach spanning multiple frameworks.

This class is taught online using Zoom as our online meeting place where we will discuss, present and experiment with the different stances and roles of an Agile Coach. The Online course delivers the exact same content and at the end you receive the same certificate.

14 hours of online learning and practice which you can deepen with a 7-hour practicum (this is an option)

To ensure high quality training for our students, we decided to limit our online classes to only 15 participants per cohort.

What to expect

Highly Practical

This course brings in the practical tools for systems thinking and awareness, systemic coaching and facilitation without the fuzzy language and mystical vocabulary. Systems thinking and Systemic coaching are two very different disciplines that work with the same raw material: Relationships. Relationships between people, between people and things (such as a product, a service, a role, or a story), and the relationship between things. All these relationships interact and influence each other constantly. It is not a static thing we can observe, record, and file away.

Beyond Teams

Coaching a team shouldn't mean you keep to the confinement of the imaginary boundaries the team operates in. These borders are not really there, and crossing them means you get to see the entire system that works to influence and push the team forward. We discus tools and frameworks that allow you to discover systems beyond the boundaries of the team, the organization and even beyond your own systems! This class doesn't focus on one framework alone, rather it set out to give you the best tools from a variety of techniques, so you can use the ones that fit your situation and need.

Forward Focused

With the awareness of the system that has grown from the interactions within, we as coaches can start helping it grow, become more efficient, drive better products, innovate faster and bigger, achieve higher engagement and resolve its own conflicts. We use the Forward Focused Conversation framework to structure our coaching interventions, in which we design the space for the system to evolve towards its desired state. How to create alignment with and in service of the system, explore what is real for the system, and what lies beyond this agreement on "The way it works". When and how to dive deeper and take the system on a discovery of self and the powerful strengths and resources they already have. When and how to help the system design next steps, action plans, experiments and solutions that are sustainable because they have a potential ripple effect that ignites positive change even beyond the teams and its many systems?
