Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice
A roadmap to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity
The Agile Company’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice statement
The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) commitment of The Agile Company is focused wholly to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion both within the organization’s teams, and as an integral part of the values we hold while interacting with clients and course participants.
Our work is rooted in the firm belief that all people deserve respect, dignity, and self-determination.
The Agile Company understands that all types of oppression are interlocking and that prejudices which harm people with disabilities are compounded based on race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. We value collaboration across movements as key to dismantling ableism, racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and transphobia within our organization, the disability rights movement, and the broader society.
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice
We believe and defend that the people we work with, as part of our projects, missions and courses, all deserve the same high regard and respect, dignity, and self-determination The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, inventiveness, innovation, self-expression, unique capabilities and talent that our team invest in their work represents a significant part of not only the strong company culture, but is also an integral part of our reputation and we believe the company’s achievements are strongly linked to our diversity as well.
We are proud to call ourselves an International & Diverse Team of Agile Coaches and trainers
The Agile Company’s diversity initiatives are applicable—but not limited to our practices and policies on recruitment and selection; compensation and benefits; professional development and training; promotions; transfers; social and recreational programs; layoffs; terminations; and the ongoing development of a work environment built on the premise of gender and diversity equity that encourages and enforces:
