ICA Launch Partner

ICAgile has evolved into ICA. Here's what it means for you.

ICAgile is now ICA, the International Certification Alliance. Existing ICAgile certifications remain valid, while ICA introduces a broader and more flexible ecosystem of certifications and credentials through SkillPrint™.

The Agile Company is an ICA Launch Partner, working directly with ICA throughout this transition.

What changes

A broader certification ecosystem

ICAgile has evolved into ICA and now covers a broader set of professional skills while continuing to support agile learning.

More flexible learning pathways

ICA introduces modular certifications and credentials that allow learners to build skills around their role, goals and development needs.

SkillPrint™ makes skills visible

Each ICA credential contributes to a learner's SkillPrint™, creating a growing picture of verified skills and development.

What stays the same

Your certification remains valid

Existing ICAgile certifications remain fully valid and recognized. You do not need to retake your course or replace your existing credential.

Existing courses continue

Existing ICAgile-accredited courses continue to be delivered during the transition. No existing programmes are being retired.

No renewal required

Once earned, your certification remains yours. ICA certifications have no renewal fees.

SkillPrint™ and Tomorrow-Ready™

SkillPrint™ is a living, verified picture of the skills you build through ICA learning. Each credential you earn adds to it, showing your strengths and the areas you may choose to build next.

Credentials and certifications

A credential covers a specific set of skills and can be earned on its own. A certification combines one core credential with at least two specialized credentials.

Tomorrow-Ready™

Practical skills that help you adapt, create value and lead through change. Rather than predicting the future, it builds transferable skills you can apply as roles, technologies and organisations evolve.

Why our ICA Launch Partnership matters to you

Clearer transition

We work directly with ICA as the new certification ecosystem is rolled out, so we can give you up-to-date guidance on how current and future pathways relate.

Earlier access to new pathways

As relevant ICA credentials and certifications become available, we can progressively integrate them into our portfolio.

Continuity with your existing learning

Our current ICAgile-accredited programmes continue while we map them into the new ICA ecosystem.

Frequently asked questions

Does my ICAgile certification expire?

No. Once earned, your certification remains yours. ICA has no renewal fees.

Can I still take an ICAgile course during the transition?

Yes. Existing accredited ICAgile courses continue to run during the transition.

Is ICA moving away from agile?

Will The Agile Company offer the new ICA certifications?

The Agile Company is working with ICA to map its current portfolio and identify new certifications and credentials relevant to our learners. Individual course pages will be updated as those mappings are completed.

Which course should I take?

It depends on your role, your experience and what you want to develop next. Book a call and we will help you choose.

Not sure which certification fits your next step?
