Frequently Asked Questions
How is the virtual program different from the in-class program?
Only the delivery format changes. The online program can be followed from home or from the office. The content and certificate are the same, and the online format gives more time to practice between sessions.
Do I receive the same certificate?
Yes. The ICP-ATF certificate is the same as the one received after an in-class course. The certificate does not mention whether the course was online or in person.
Are there prerequisites?
There are no formal prerequisites. It is recommended to have good working knowledge of at least one Agile framework such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience in an Agile environment is a plus.
Do I have to take an exam?
No. ICP-ATF is a knowledge-based certification. The course covers ICAgile learning objectives and requires active participation in coaching, mentoring, breakout sessions, teach-back moments and presentations.
How often do I need to renew the certificate?
Never. The Agile Team Facilitation certificate issued by ICAgile has lifetime validity.
When will I receive my certificate?
ICAgile usually sends the certificate within a few days after course completion.
Do I need to prepare anything before the virtual classroom?
Before the course, you receive your workbook. You are asked to print or prepare the pages and use them during the sessions as your working reference.
How do I enter the virtual classroom?
You receive a Zoom invitation by email. If you have never used Zoom before, join a few minutes early so you can download or open the application before the trainer starts the session.
What technical setup do I need?
A good internet connection, a computer, headphones or speakers, and familiarity with basic computer and internet use.
